Typical cost is $30–80/month depending on your business type. You'll handle this during the booking process.

Can I stay longer than one month?

Yes. After the protected period, your license rolls month-to-month automatically. Give 30 days written notice whenever you're ready to leave.

How do I get paid?

Payouts are released via Stripe 7 days after the tenant's confirmed move-in date. After that, monthly payments are deposited automatically. You keep 98% of every payment — Trulo deducts a 2% platform fee.

Hosts who cancel a confirmed booking are charged a 30% penalty of the first month's rent. This protects tenants from last-minute disruption.

What's my worst case if I need to leave early?

Your first month is a commitment (the 30-day protection period). After that, you can give 30 days written notice and leave — no penalties. So your worst case is about 2 months of rent. Your best case: you stay, grow, and renew month-to-month.
