What happens if something goes wrong?

Report issues from your dashboard

Use Report an issue for active or completed bookings. Pick a category, describe what happened, and the other party is notified.

Check refund timing first

Refund eligibility depends on where you are in the booking timeline. The linked cancellation policy shows the exact tiers.

Insurance runs through checkout

Many bookings require commercial general liability coverage, and checkout guides you through the Coverdash partner flow.

Keep payments on-platform

Trulo uses Stripe for payments. If there is a card chargeback, related payouts may pause until the dispute is resolved.

Disputes, cancellations & refunds

For active or completed bookings, use Report an issue in your dashboard. Pick the closest category, explain what happened, and submit the report. The other party is notified, and related payouts may be held while the case is reviewed.

Refund eligibility depends on where you are in the booking timeline. The dashboard shows whether a partial or full refund applies. See Cancellation & Refund Policy, Tenant Agreement, and Host Agreement.

Insurance & payments

Many bookings require commercial general liability coverage. Checkout walks you through the Coverdash partner flow so you can get or bind coverage online. Premiums and coverage sit between you and the insurer; Trulo helps connect the pieces.

Rent and fees move through Stripe. If a cardholder files a chargeback with their bank, Trulo may pause related payouts until the dispute is resolved. Always pay and receive money only through Trulo, never by cash or wire transfer outside the platform.
